Tim Tebow Media Availability

Tebow has batted .235 in spring training so far.   Although struggling against Big League pitching he has been able to hold his own against other minor league players.    He will begin his professional career Thursday April 6th against the Augusta Greenjackets

“Sending him to a full season club is what we hoped to be able to do,” Mets general manager Sandy Alderson told Newsday  in an interview. “And based on what he’s done in spring training, and  his whole body of work since last fall, we feel comfortable with him  going to Columbia.”
