The Jacksonville Jaguars have re-signed QB Chad Henne, the club announced today.

“With nine years of NFL experience, Chad has an abundance of knowledge in professional football,” said Jaguars Head Coach Doug Marrone. “Chad provides leadership to our offensive meeting room.”

Henne, 6-3, 222, has appeared in 65 career games with 53 starts since entering the league as a second round selection by Miami in 2008. After joining the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent in 2012, Henne has appeared in 29 games with 22 starts for the Jaguars over the last five seasons. In his career, Henne has completed 1,159 of 1,954 passes (59.3 comp. pct.) for 12,931 yards, 58 TDs and 63 INTs. Henne’s 5,817 passing yards, 513 completions and 27 TD passes with the Jaguars all rank fifth in team annals.
