Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston has officially been suspended by the NFL for the first three games of the NFL season. Winston will not appeal the decision.

Winston will miss games at the Saints, then Hoke against the Eagles and Steelers.

In response to the suspension, which was negotiated between Winston's representative and the league, Winston released the following statement, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport:
Winston's suspension will cause him to miss the Buccaneers games at the New Orleans in week one, and at home against the Eagles and the Steelers in week two and three, respectively.
