Tebow Hitting Steak Hits 10 Games; MLB Call-up Gaining Steam

Tim Tebow extending his hitting streak to 10 games and was able to raise his average 6 points over the weekend.   He is now hitting .276 with 6 HRs and 35 RBI.   What may even be more impressive is that he has hit safely in 19 of his last 21 games and .385 in the Month of July and .372 over the last 30 days.

Speculation is heating up that Tim Tebow could be called up as early as August.   Mets' GM John Ricco recently told the NY Post.

“It’ll be something I talk with J.P. and Omar about and then we’ll see where it goes,” the Ricco said. “But right now, he’s continuing to develop. You have to just give him credit for the effort level and the commitment and the results are coming with him."

Tebow will try to extend his hitting streak to 11 when Binghamton hosts  Portland Monday Night.
