The Florida State Seminoles have dismissed defensive end Tre Lawson following a fight in practice. Lawson got into a fight with starting offensive lineman Jauan Williams during practice on August 7th. Head coach Willie Taggart broke up the fight and made the two walk off the field holding hands.

Lawson, a redshirt freshman, was not expected to contribute much in Florida State's defensive line rotation.
