#7 Seed Gators Fall To #10 Seed Colorado In First Round of NCAA Tournament

The 10th-seeded Colorado Buffaloes (26-10) beat the 7th-seeded Florida Gators (24-12) 102-100 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday afternoon in Indianapolis.

Walter Clayton, Jr, led the Gators with a career-high 33 points, including a game-tying three pointer to tie the game 100-100 with nine seconds left. It was Colorado coming through with the magical moment in March Madness, as KJ Simpson hit the game-winning jumper to lift the Buffaloes to the victory.

The Colorado Buffaloes now advance to play 2nd-seeded Marquette on Sunday. The Florida Gators see their season end with a first-round exit from the NCAA Tournament.
