The Left Handed Lettuce Strikes Again

posted by Seth Harp -

It looks like the Florida Gators may be without one of the biggest offensive threats in the nation for their 2017 opener against Michigan in Jerry's World.

Early Saturday morning he was cited for misdemeanor marijuana possession when Gainesville Police Department officers stopped a black Mercedes SUV. Callaway was a passenger in the rear driver's side seat, and the officer smelled marijuana when he approached the vehicle.

After asking Callaway to exit the vehicle, the officer found a bag of marijuana weight about seven grams in the front pocket of Callaway's pants.

In 2016, Callaway recorded 54 catches for 721 yards and three touchdowns.   He is one of the top offensive threats in the SEC.
